・ Fixed bug where the time module would display an impossible track number (3 digits) when the driver mistakenly returned it.
・ Merged the functionality of the Time and the Omni module into CD Omni GH 2. This should save space, CPU time and overall memory useage, as well as allowing the showing of times left/into a track program.
・ Added support for one IDE CD ROM drive. I think.
・ Fixed incompatibility with Control Strip where font changes would not have an effect after restart.
・ Fixed bug whereby a new random program would be generated whenever the track menu was brought up if there weren't track names entered for the current disk.
・ Collaborated with Christopher Li to produce a Japanese version. Look for it at your favorite
localized software archive.
・ Took TV Helper GH out of the package. If you are interested in testing updated USA version, download it from my home page: http://www.tiac.net/users/grhowes/. I'll probably release a reasonably final version in a month or so.
Changes since 1.3.1
・ Fixed bug where you could not not use track programs while the random playback option
was set.
・ Fixed bug where you couldn't change the target drive of the volume module without restarting.
・ Added support for Extension Strip's feature of not giving any time to modules which don't need it.
・ Made Omni & Time modules PPC native (Fat) using the Extension Strip interface. The other modules have no really compelling reason to be native as they don't do anything periodically and their click actions are short and quick anyway, and going native really increases the RAM & disk requirements.
・ Put in support for user selectable strip fonts and sizes for the time module. (It's a rare font that looks good above 9 points, although Espy Sans is nice in 10 point).
・ Made Omni compatible with mixed CDs. Those with both data and audio tracks.
・ Modified behavior of Omni module such that dragging off the button will popup the track menu immediately instead of waiting for the double click time to expire.
・ Fixed bug in Time module where the sound level might not be properly drawn if the user has multiple monitors.
Changes since 1.3
・ Added Randomize Playback option to Omni module
・ Worked around incompatibility with newer Macs + Audio Setup 5.1.1 where playback would stop mid track for no apparent reason.
Changes since 1.2
・ Should recognize more CD drives/drivers (thanks to FWB).
・ Omni and Time module should no longer disrupt screen savers.
・ Effectively doubled the resolution of the sound level indicator on the time module by lowering the increment to a half box.
・ Eliminated minor annoyance of having some CD ROMs masquerading as Audio CDs in the Omni modules display and actions.
・ Did a complete rewrite of the text Read Me file.
・ Gave option to time module of choosing the time refresh rate (1, 2 or 5 seconds). I still prefer 2 seconds.
・ Changed the color appearance of all modules. Got rid of pseudo 3-D look (too late '80s) and replaced it with nice legible matte finish look. As part of this, also changed the color scheme of all the modules to the standard shades of blue on gray.
・ Added support for multiple SCSI busses, like the one used in the PowerMac 9500.
・ Changed the word メEjectモ to メPut Awayモ as that is consistent with how the Finder decribes the action of ejecting and dismounting a drive.
・ Returned the ability to play one track to the Omni module by holding down the shift key as long as it doesn't conflict with the ability to toggle the play program mode.
・ Increased the resolution of the volume menu (65 possible volumes instead of 33).
・ Fixed bug which should have caused the volume menu to crash on most non-ColorQuickdraw machines. (No reports of this, just found it).
・ Fixed bug which should have caused heap corruption when something was wrong with the CD Remote Programs file (No reports of this, just found it).
・ Fixed bug which caused track programs not to work if they were started by a shift key overide.
・ Worked around several conflicts with the FWB CD ROM Toolkit drivers: omni module should not display the wrong icon or display the wrong menu when a CD is ejected, and multiple drives should be accessible when they are using FWB drivers.
・ Made programmatic playback a bit more reliable.
・ Made the quick click time the same as the user settable double click time.
・ Added feature to Omni & Volume modules which will allow the storing of a sound level to which the drive will be set at startup.
Changes since 1.1
・ Added program support for track programs created with the AppleCD Audio Player v2.0.
・ Now store track name strings so has to avoid rebuilding track menu every time omni module is clicked.
・ Fixed cosmetic bug in all modules when the module's display area was cut off.
・ Fixed bug in the omni module where it wouldn't stop some CDs.
・ Worked around difference between how Apple driver responds to the order of play/stop commands and how the APS PowerTools v3.0.7 responds. This was making it impossible to use the shift key to play only one track in the Play module.
・ Worked around lack of fast forward/fast reverse support in Toshiba drives.
Changes since 1.0
・ Got rid of silly button on button look of the modules Finder icons
(rebuild your desktop to see changes).
・ Added Fast Forward, Fast Reverse, Next Track, and Previous Track modules,
I now emulate every commonly present CD control. The user of course should
feel no compulsion to use all or most of the modules.
・ Added Time/Volume display module.
・ Added "Auto Repeat CD" option to the omni module.
・ Added "Auto Eject CD" option to the omni module
・ Added multiple drive support to all modules.
・ Added balloon help strings.
・ Tracks that begin with "-" (hyphen) will no longer show up as an unselectable
gray line.
・ Replaced numbered menu of volumes with a graphical sliding menu (with continuously
changing volume).
・ All modules now based on the same generic audio cd module code framework to
improve maintainability.
・ Eject should no longer allow ejecting the drive when the file sharing bug is
